How to make love shaped Agidi / Eko

In response to your requests in my previous post, i'd be sharing with you "How to make love shaped Agidi/eko". I got the fabulous idea to make love shaped Agidi (or Eko) while trying to fill my heart shaped ice block moulds with water. When i got the mould, it never occurred to me that it could be a multipurpose house hold item especially for food craft. Most times, eating the normal Agidi could get really boring but this heart shaped version is bound to make your meal special. Sure you can also make Agidi/eko at home....It's pretty simple.

Here goes:::
I used this heart shaped mould which was originally meant for water. It's got a rubbery feel which makes whatever is put in it easier to come out.

Step 1: The first step is to prepare your agidi/eko starch from scratch

Step 2: While the Agidi is still Hot, Scoop spoons of the thick liquid into the moulds.

Step 3: Leave to cool for about 6 hours or more. Once it cools, it sets and once it sets you can gently bring it out from the mold without it breaking.

And there you have it, your love shaped Agidi/Eko. Serve with Okra soup, Ogbono soup, pepper soup, Milk e.t.c
