More on the Book.............................
"Giving", a cookbook bringing inspiring recipes from 8 countries around the world to the student’s kitchen.
It’s full of wholesome, varied and interesting meals, featuring Ruby Tandoh from Great British Bake-Off, Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall of River Cottage and James Ramsden of The Supper Club. We also have over 20 amazing writers, photographers, food bloggers and foodies who have kindly contributed to our project.
This is a cookbook with a difference, which makes a difference! All proceeds are going to Women for Women International, a fantastic charity who provide holistic support to women in post-conflict countries and communities.
The cookbook takes recipes from the 8 countries that WfWI works in – Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan, Rwanda, DRC, Nigeria and South Sudan, modelled on a student’s varied lifestyle, so the recipes are easy, cheap and interesting!
To pre-order your cookbook, please visit:
If you are not a student at Leeds, just create a guest login and follow the instructions!
All of us at Leeds Students for Women International thank you for buying our cookbook, through which you are ‘giving’ to Women for Women International! We hope you enjoy cooking up a storm to our playlist and trying food from around the world, we’ve enjoyed every minute of making it.
Thank you,
Tiggy Allen, Manager of the Cookbook Project, and our fantastic team!

Secondly, i'd like to introduce you to my YouTube channel. It's so exciting cos i never thought i'd pull through with learning how to make videos. If i thought taking good photo's was a big deal, i must confess i had to have a rethink with Creating videos. The filming, the cutting, the editing.......phewwww!!!! the list goes on and on. Finding a good program for this also was a herculean task but i'm glad i was able to learn the basics though....Thanks to Google.
On the YouTube channel, is where i'd be Sharing more of my Street foodie Waka Videos and also Videos on Nigerian food recipes. To Subscribe, Simply Click HERE and hit the Subscribe button so you don't miss a post ;)
