Lagos Carnival: Sites, Sounds, FOOD!!!! on Street foodie waka

On monday the 21st of April 2014, Lots of spectators came from far and near to watch dancers, Performers, and extravagant costumes during the Annual Lagos Carnival which was held at the TBS (Tafawa balewa square) Onikan lagos.
i was one of the spectators also as i excitedly carried myself to the venue that very morning. One word i'd use to best describe the experience is simply "Awesome". Apart from the colorful acrobatic displays by the performers representing different zones in Lagos, i couldn't help but notice the unique eats displayed by food vendors also. I've always been in love with carnivals, not just because of the awesome displays but also because of the Unique eats & drinks one could get during such celebrations. The good thing is, wherever there are lots of people, there'd always be a variety of things to choose from. Food companies were not left out also as most of them had their food stands at the venue. The major sponsors of the event were First Bank, Maltina, and The Lagos state government. Below are some highlights from my waka on that day.
The jam-packed stadium

The Lagos State Governor (Babatunde Fashola), his wife, Abimbola and some members of the state executive council were among the spectators.

    1. you sure did. it's usually publicized but i guess that's done mostly on radio and Tv stations. i guess they should invest more on online media though.
