Beske is a tasty snack made from cheese or soy curds a.k.a. Wara. It's simply fried cheese or soy curds and it's really popular in certain regions across the country especially in places where wara is being sold. There are two major types of beske; the type made from wara (fresh milk version) or the type made from wara (soya milk version also known as "Tofu"). Fried beske is golden in colour. Making beske is pretty easy as shown below.

• 1 cup sliced Wara (Cheese /Soy Curds)
• Salt to taste
• 1 cup Vegetable oil for frying

Procedure:::
Step 1: Place the curds in a bowl, add salt to taste then mix.
Step 2: Heat up the oil in a pan and fry the salted curds in the oil till golden brown.
Step 3: Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel. Serve as a snack
