Bell pepper omelette - Easy Egg Recipe

Thinking of a nice and easy breakfast dish to make? well i've got this easy bell pepper omelette recipe ready for you. It's fast and easy to make and all you need is just a few ingredients. An omelette is simply a dish made by beating or whisking eggs together with fruits then frying with cooking oil or butter. For this recipe, i used red and green bell peppers as the main fruit. Don't tell me you didn't know they are fruits... Side eyes. 

Easy Bell Pepper Omelette

3 Medium Sized Eggs 
1⁄4 Cup red bell pepper - chopped
1⁄4 Cup green bell pepper - chopped
• 1⁄4 Cup onion - chopped
• Salt - to taste
• 1 tbsp. Cooking oil or Butter

    Step 1: Crack the eggs into a small bowl and add the chopped peppers, onion and salt to taste. Beat gently until well blended.

    Step 2: Heat the coking oil or butter in an empty non-stick frying pan till its hot. Tilt the pan so the oil would spread all around the pan. Gently pour in the egg mixture and leave to fry for about 1 minute or till the bottom part sets beneath.

    Step 3: Flip the fried omelette with a spatula so the other part can cook also. Once there are no more runny parts, Fold the egg into two and transfer onto a serving plate.

    Enjoy with bread, rice, beans, yam or even potatoes.
